| 内容記述 | Abstract Surfers prefer a certain range of wave height so that they can ride on waves. It is a waste of time for them to go to seashore, when the waves are too low or high. Development of forecasting system has been expected to evade wasting time. Insufficient accurate data and complicated relations between wave height and factors make us choose fuzzy logic. A forecasting system is proposed, inputs of which are wave height and wind velocity of the previous day and wind velocity of the previous night, and the fuzzy rules of which are obtained from experts' know-how. The validation test using past two-year data at Kizakihama in Miyazaki leads us to the conclusion that the system realizes 86% forecast accuracy. |
