| 内容記述 | Abstract According to the disaster due to the typhoon 9719, large-scale river improvement works were executed in the Kita River which flew the northern part of Miyazaki prefecture. The river improvement works were executed in order to preserve the rich nature of the Kita River. Environment after the works was monitored in long term observations. We monitored concerning the change of the sand bar. According to the results, the vegetation had recovered little by little on the sand bar. But, in a flood due to the typhoon 0423, the vegetation of the sand bar was again destroyed. In this research, change of physical environment on the sand bar was examined. As a result, it was clarified that vegetation destruction was different in the Kawasaka sand bar and the Motomura sand bar. On the Kawasaka sandbar, the vegetation was destroyed by the accumulation of sand and gravel in the whole sand bar. On the one hand, on the Motomura sandbar, it caused by the partly corrosion of sand and gravel. |
