| 内容記述 | 小学生あるいは中学生用の教材として、円周率・円の面積・球の体積についてやさしく学ぶことができる教材を開発した。1円周率については、円周の長さを測り直径で割り算する普通の方法を用いるが、ここでは測定精度を上げるため、伸び縮みしないハンダ線を試用した。2円の面積については、紐(あるいはハンダ線)を利用することで、その形を円から直角三角形に変えて、計算する方法を開発した。3球の体積については、厚紙の積み重ねによって、球の体積を円錐の体積に変換して求める方法を工夫した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | We made teaching materials covering from an elementary school to a junior high school for pupils easy to learn the circle ratio, the area of a circle, and the volume of a sphere. (1) For the circle ratio: we measured the circle ratio with a solder wire winding around the circumference of a circle of a thick paper. (2) For the area of a circle: we developed a way to calculate the area of a circle, changing its form into a right angled triangle. (3) For the volume of a sphere: we devised a mean to estimate the volume of a sphere, transforming a sphere into a circular cone made of thick paper piles. | |||||
