| 内容記述 | Historically, clinical psychology and developmental psychology have never collaborated. However, developmental levels within therapeutic intervention should be emphasized from the perspective of empirical supported psychotherapies in clinical psychology. In this article, three developmental issues are discussed in clinical psychology for children. First, practitioners should consider the normative levels of relevant disruptive behaviors or psychological symptoms, because sub-clinical problems are observed through the normative developmental trajectory. In addition, developmental levels affect treatment outcomes. Especially cognitive developmental levels play critical roles of applications and effects in the psychotherapies. Second, the theory of moderator and mediator is introduced as a method for adaptating developmental theory to clinical practices. Hypothetical mediators are useful for psychotherapies, because these mediators can be changed through certain psychotherapies and facilitate therapeutic gains. Finally, the importance of developmental psychopathology is discussed. Developmental psychopathology is the study of psychopathology considerate from a developmental perspective. Developmental psychopathology contributes to the development of treatment elements of prevention programs. | |||||
