内容記述 | Charpy impact test is conducted at various testing temperatures and fracture behavior of a hot-rolled AZ31 magnesium alloy is investigated. As a result of Charpy impact test, the absorbed energy, Et,dial at 77K was approximately 54% lower than that at room temperature. The energy until fracture showed a tendency to decrease linearly as Charpy testing temperature is decreasing. This shift in energy absorption with temperature means embrittlement in Mg alloy. Failure during impact deformation begins in front of notch in Charpy specimen is initiated at maximum load, Pmax and toughness at 77 K is degradable compere with that at room temperature. | |||||
