| 内容記述 | “Why is technology education necessary?" In this paper, we summarized the present situation and problems of technology education in Japan, particularly focused on manufacturing education in junior high school education in general education. In addition, we try to answer the question “Why is technology education necessary?" based on the survey of prior studies. As a result of the summarization and the survey, the manufacturing education under the technology education in junior high school covered the basic elements of engineering. In addition, "Technology" was placed on the roles of character formation as well as academic abilities in technology. In conclusion, it was revealed that technology education is essential subject, in general. | |||||
