Among them, the lowest was southern high-plateau of Qinghai Province, e.g. Zadou County (7.7±3.6μg/kg, 10.7±1.8μg/kg respectively) and Maxing County (8.1±6.7μg/kg, 9.8±1.6μg/kg respectively), the second, the west-south area of the Qinghai lake, e.g. Zekou County (21.2±6.0μg/kg, 15.5±3.1μg/kg respectively), Yushu County (9.2±2.9μg/kg, 16.4±3.1μg/kg respectively) and eastern and southern area of the lake, e.g. Gonghe County (l7.3±3.6μg/kg, 14.9±1.7μg/kg respectively), the third, the northern area of the lake, e.g. Huangyuan County (32. 4±8.8μg/kg, 17.2±1.5μg/kg respectively) and Mengyuan County (32.0±8.4μg/kg, 16.5±1.2μg/kg respectively). There was a significant correlation (r^2=0.94, p\u003c0.01) between the selenium concentrations of grazing yak blood and plants.
