内容記述 | In this paper, an artificial, neural network model is developed to predict peak horizontal acceleration in Japan. A complete data set with a large number of records of Japanese subduction zone data is considered for the analysis. The local site condition is included in the proposed model, where two types of ground were selected during analysis. Prediction curves related to the soil and rock sites are notably resolved. For comparison, some recent attenuation studies in Japan are investigated. It is found that the attenuation of peak horizontal acceleration provided by this study is compatible with other recent attenuation studies in Japan and has relatively superior performance in some instances. | |||||
