内容記述 | To develop a computer simulation method of earthquake wave motions for the fault-ground system with laterally inhomogeneous media, a three dimensional direct boundary element method is combined with the seismic waves radiated from an extended rupturing fault based on a kinematic source model. By using the developed method, it is found that the seismic wave field on free surface near a strike slip fault exhibits the vortex nature like the movement of cloud during typhoon. It is also found that the spatial-temporal variation of the seismic wave field depends strongly on both the geometrical structure of the sedimentary valley and the position of the extended fault rupture. | |||||
