| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study were (a) to examine early adolescent's self-care performance, (b) to examine perceived parental support to the early adolescent's self-care performance, and (c) to examine relationships between early adolescent's self-care performance and their parental support. The study sample was included 347 adolescents (12 to 14 years old) in classroom settings of two junior high schools. Data was collected by adolescents completing a self-reported questionnaire. The findings are as follows :(1) early adolescent's self-care performance decreased as age increased, (2) early adolescent's self-care performance differs by gender, (3) early adolescents wished for and were given moderate their parental support their self-care performance, and (4) the more support adolescents were given by their mothers, the higher their self-care performance became (r=0.334, p<0.001). Findings suggest that health care professions should consider the results of this study when plannning self-care educational programs for early adolescents and their parents. | |||||||||||
