| 内容記述 | Wireless sensor-networks use battery-operated computing and sensing devices. Power saving of nodes is a significant issue for prolonging the service-lifetime of sensor-networks. There are some protocols to reduce the energy consumption by using techniques minimizing idle listening. However, in those protocols, there is a problem of data delivery delay when something is detected. In this paper, we present a new protocol to reduce data delivery delay time by combining a technique minimizing idle listening with constructing a path to the sink node quickly by extending active time of limited number of nodes surrounding the path. Simulation experiments show that the proposed protocol has the much less data delivery delay with the slight increase of power consumption as compared with the existing protocols. | |||||
