| 内容記述 | This paper proposes smartphone screen unlock method with high usability and security. Our proposed method combines free gesture recognition and high speed face recognition. Free gesture recognition compares a previously registered gesture with trace of finger on the screen. Face recognition compares a previously registered face information with those from built-in camera. The conventional face recognition has a big problem that can unlock device by simply showing face photo. To solve this problem, we combine real-time free gesture recognition with face recognition. Since it is hard to know registered gesture in advance, this combination gives us high level security. In addition, we improve usability by recognizing face and gesture in parallel. Our method use ORB (Oriented FAST and Rotated Brief) to get feature extraction on image. In our method, authentication will be cancelled if both recognitions don't successfully finish a limited time. Experimental results showed that accuracy of face recognition is 90%. In addition, the questionnaire survey said that proposed method gave a good impression. | |||||
