Waveform distortion is a serious problem transmitting signals in higher frequency on printed circuit boards. In order to overcome this problem, thesegmental transmission line(STL)has already been proposed. In this reserch, we reshape signal waveforms using limited kinds of line-width and changing the segment-length together. We also develop a design methodology using a GA to determine the optimal paremeter for the proposed STL.We experimented designed STL on physical model.
