| 内容記述 | Alkaline metal (Na and K) silicate materials are possible to prepare an aqueous solution, and have a characteristics of a dehydration condensation reaction to polymer structure at high temperature. It is considered that the aqueous solution made from alkaline metal silicate compound splay for combustibles to form a solid film and/or foam state on its surface. In order to develop a new fire-extinguishing liquid agent using our original fireproof heat insulation materials, which alkaline metal silicate as main components, it performed the fire extinction experiment for the prescribed size of a beech wood crib (W60 xD80 xH80mm) as free angle and each side splaying method. It is estimated to the ability of fire-extinction, Ef, each prepared sample compared with the ability of water in the preliminary experiments. And it was determined that the chemical composition of the fire-extinguishing agent has the value of Ef as 3.4 for water in this experimental conditions. | |||||
