UHSS tensile specimen is immersed in a 20 mass% aqueous solution of ammonium thiocyanate (NH4SCN) at 313 K (40 °C) for 24 hours in conformity to FIP. Average tensile strength, δB and yield strength, δy for hydrogen charged specimen were similar to that for the uncharged specimens, whereas change of the stress-strain curves and ductility (i.e. fracture strain, εf) with charged specimen are recognized. The εf of charged hydrogen sample was 0.142, which was 10.1 % lower than that of uncharged hydrogen sample.
