内容記述 | The cathode spot model is used to describe the instability processes in the cathode region of a vacuum arc. It is proposed that a current level below that no real solution exists is unstable region. The real solutions are restricted using the equation of electric field. When the current decreases below 24 A, the electrons returning to the sheath region from the plasma region were found to dominate over positive ions, and thus the cathode electric field has an imaginary solution. This is the physical explanation for the initiation of arc instability. | |||||
