In this study, deformation and fracture behavior of the magnesium alloy at cryogenic temperature were investigated. As received rolled AZ31B magnesium material was used. Charpy impact test was carried out at temperatures range from 77K (-196℃) to 293K (20℃) with loading velocity of approximately 4.8 m/s for standard V-notch Charpy specimen. To examine impact load-time response of the alloy tested at 293 K and 83 K, toughness value was defined. Cryogenic Charpy toughness at 77 K was degradable compare with that at 293 K.
