However, Stem–end Rot of mango is likely to corrupt the fruit during transportation, which may lead to a decrease in the reliability of branded mangoes. Therefore, it is necessary to perform sterilization. So we made a sterilization device with a dielectric barrier discharge source. In order to confirm the usefulness of this device and the factor of stelirization, we performed sterilization tests using Lasiodiplodia theobromae and mango fruit inoculated with the fungus.
