With reference to IEC 62478, the four AE (acoustic emission) sensors were used to locate the PD sources and one HFCT (High Frequency Current Transducer) technique was to identify the PD source and the criteria level. This process is successfully to accurately identify and locate the PD source that occurring at any position in a transformer.
