The findings are as follows: (1) the teacher mostly uses revoicing in order to acknowledge the students' contributions; (2) revoicing activates the interactions between the teacher and the students as well as among the students; (3) revoicing enhances the students' sense of security and their willingness to participate in classroom talk; and (4) revoicing allows the teacher to lead a whole class discussion in the desired directions. The paper concludes that by utilizing revoicing, the teacher can avoid a fixed pattern of classroom interactions, which facilitates students' opportunities to learn not only content knowledge but also how to engage in appropriate classroom talk.}, pages = {133--144}, title = {高等学校英語授業での教師によるリヴォイシングの機能}, volume = {91}, year = {2018}, yomi = {ヒダキ, ヒロユキ and トウジョウ, ヒロコ and トウジョウ, ヒロコ} }
