The magnesium compounds were used as arsenic adsorbents including MgO, Mg(OH)2 and light and heavy types of MgCO3. The results of analyses and evaluation of the experiments indicated that MgO has the lowest apparent arsenic equilibrium concentration and the highest arsenic adsorption efficiency.
