内容記述 | An artificial neural network model was developed to predict peak horizontal acceleration in Japan. A complete data set with large number of records of Japanese subduction zone data was considered for the analysis. The local site condition is included into the proposed model, where two types of ground were selected during analysis. Prediction curves related to the soil and rock sites were notably resolved. For comparison some recent attenuation studies in Japan were investigated. It is found that the attenuation of peak horizontal acceleration provided by this study is compatible with other recent attenuation studies in Japan and has relatively superior performance in some instances. | |||||
