| 内容記述 | A method for describing the spatial variation of strong earthquakegenerated ground displacements is presented intended to establish a practical procedure to deal with the earthquake loadings to the structures below ground. The principal idea exists in the interpretation that the ground displacement is a random function of space variable. This interpretation together with the recently reported damage statistics of small buried pipelines makes it possible to identify the scale of spatial variation of ground displacements. This interpretation is also used to establish a method of estimating the scale of spatial variation from a set of measurements by an array of transducers with common time bases. | |||||
