| 内容記述 | Numerical examples of near-field ground motion for a strike slip fault are presented, which are obtained from a computer simulation on the basis of a stiffness matricesbased formulation of the physical processes of propagation of the seismic waves generated by a kinematic fault repture model in horizontally layered media. It is found that the several vortexes, like those appearing behind an obstacle in an air or water flow, can be seen in the seismic wave field and then the space-time variation of near-field ground motions are quite large and complex. To capture the important features of the response of long extended structures to such near-field ground motions, the inelastic response of an idealized continuous viaduct is investigated. As a result it is numerically demonstrated that the spatial variation of near-field ground motions strongly affects the responses. | |||||
