| 内容記述 | The present study examined the effects of the enhancement of hip adduction for muscular strength on the jump function of untrained female subjects. Twenty healthy college students participated in this research. Training for 4 weeks using this study resulted in profound increases of maximum hip adduction strength and maximum height in vertical jump. However, the enhancement of vertical jump height was accompanied by no alteration of the maximum floor reaction force, floor contact time and rate of force development in jump performance. These findings point out that, in untrained female subjects, the training-induced improvements of the stability of the pelvis would cause enhancement in maximum height in vertical jump performance. It was suggested that improvements of these stability resulted in the increased efficiency of power transmission for the vertical direction in jump performance. | |||||
