The reflections were performed using writings of three reflective journals and feedback interviews of eight subjects. Ten categories were extracted and they were categorized into two after analyzing the contents of the semi-structured interview data.The “ability necessary for nursing practice" core was `the surge of self-understanding and self-empowerment', and `acquisition critical thinking', and `acquisition of nursing practice abilities that utilize abilities of others', and `improvement of communication skills according to the situation', `the surge of recognition of nursing actions that both meet safety and ethics', and `deep understandings of team work in medical management' which led through to `the surge of a mature nursing practice development'. The “ability to conduct reflection" was composed of `improvement of skills necessary for reflection' `deep positive recognition of the value of reflection', and `acquisition of the ability to reflect continuously'. The whole structure of the “ability necessary for nursing practice" and “ability to conduct reflection" developed the process of thinking with `the surge of self-understanding and self-empowerment' at the core and “ability to conduct reflection" surrounding “ability necessary for nursing practice" in a spiral. Reflection stimulated career development of the second year nurses, and its usefulness as a continuous education method was suggested.}, pages = {10--20}, title = {卒後2年目看護師の行うリフレクションがキャリア開発に与える意味と継続教育方法の検討}, volume = {15}, year = {2017}, yomi = {ヒガシ, サトエ and コダマ, ミユキ} }
