MEA performance is one of the important factors for the performance of PEFC (polymer electrolyte fuel cell). To improve the degradation characteristics of the MEA is possibly to contribute on improving the durability of the PEFC. In comparison with a conventional screen method for forming the catalyst layer, a spray method was able to suppress 8.6% reduction in power density.
