キャリアアップする上で困難に感じていることを調査し, 組織コミットメントの概念を用いて検討することで, 看護師が就業継続するための条件について示唆を得ることを目的とする。\n 1,495名の看護師を対象に就業継続意思の有無と理由, キャリアアップを困難にする理由等の質問紙調査を行った。就業継続の意思決定の理由は【自己のライフスタイルと仕事との適合性】【キャリアアップの可能性】【年齢との折り合い】【病院組織の体制・条件】の項目に対応するものであった。就業継続意思ありでは, 組織コミットメントの3要素のうち情動的要素,継続的要素を含み, 就業継続意思なしは3要素とも含まれないことが示唆された。キャリアアップを困難にするのは, <地域性>と<組織の支援不足>であった。\n A県の看護師は『地元・家族密着安定志向』の傾向をもっており,
