Amplification of cyclin A was detected in 27.3% (9/33) of canine mammary tumors and 87.5% (7/8) of feline mammary carcinomas. It was suggested that amplification of cyclin A do not correlate directly with the tumorigenesis of canine mammary tumors, because there was no significant difference of incidence of cyclin A amplification between the benign and malignant tumors. In feline mammary carcinomas, the high frequency of cyclin A amplification raised the possibility that the amplification lead to the protein overexpression and play an important role in the tumorigenesis., 犬乳腺腫瘍33例および猫乳腺癌8例のDNAについてサザンブロット法によりcyclin A遺伝子の異常に関する検討を行った.犬乳腺腫瘍33例中9例(27.3%)および猫乳腺癌8例中7例(87.5%)でcyclin A癌遺伝子の増幅が認められた.犬乳腺腫瘍では, Cyclin A遺伝子の増幅率が良性および悪性腫瘍間で有意な差がないため, その増幅と腫瘍発生には直接的な関連がないことが示唆された.猫乳腺癌では, Cyclin A遺伝子の増幅が高頻度であることから, その増幅が蛋白の過剰発現を引き起こし腫瘍発生に重要な役割を担っている可能性があると思われた.}, pages = {783--787}, title = {Amplification of the Cyclin a Gene in Canine and Feline Mammary Tumors}, volume = {62}, year = {2000}, yomi = {ムラカミ, ユウイチ and タテヤマ, ススム and ランシピパット, アニュテープ and ウチダ, カズユキ and ヤマグチ, リョウジ} }
