The main goal of this research is to develop prediction models that can estimate anthocyanin pigment content in purple-fleshed sweetpotato 'AYAMURASAKI' and 'MURASAKIMASARI' using spectrophotometry in the visible range (450-600nm). Using stepwise multiple linear regression, calibration model wavelengths were selected using the second derivative of the smoothed absorbance spectral data.
