Thirty-one out of 51 animals, 60.8%, were infected with C. ten and the widespread parasitization was reaffirmed.  C. ten was found in the raccoon dogs from the northern region of the Prefecture as in those from the southern region. The rate of paraitism showed no regional difference, and the fluke was very common in the pancreas of the raccoon dog inhabiting Miyazaki Prefecture. But the rate showed a seasonal difference, namely, the rate of the latter half of the hunting season, after January 10, was much higher than that of the first half.
