Ovarian findings in PG600® treated gilts (n=11) and saline treated controls (n=12) were monitored with transrectal ultrasonography and that revealed the increments of follicular populations in a diameter of 5-7 mm, diameter of the largest follicle and number of ovulations. Plasma concentrations of estradiol and progesterone in luteal phase were increased in PG600® treated また初回交配までの日数の短縮, 並びに離乳した母豚に対する総分娩率の増加がみられた.  同様に初産豚にPG600®を投与した処置群(n=11)と生理食塩液を投与した対照群(n=12)について, 離乳後の卵巣所見を経直腸超音波検査法により観察したところ, 処置群で離乳後2～3日における直径5～7mmの卵胞数と最大卵胞直径の増加があり, 排卵数が増加した.  また, 発情後の処置群では,
