| 内容記述 | Residents' attitudes against the damage to agricultural crops by wild deer in Sanriku town, Iwate Prefecture, were investigated by a questionnaire to 100 testee. Many of agriculture, forest and fishery testee had the experience damaging their crops directly by wild deer, and they hoped that wild deer should not habit in the town, because the damage of their crops was actually very serious. In case of the harmful extermination of wild deer, 48% of the testee supported totally after counting the actual wild deer habitat, and 30% supported the positive harmful extermination by shooting, and then totally about 80% supported the harmful extermination of wild deer. Almost of the testee knew already the deer farm for wild deer. Many of them also thought to cooperate for rural revitalization by the effective utilization of wild deer, because Sanriku town had only the primary industries of agriculture, forestry and fishery. Furthermore, some cases of rural revitalization by the effective utilization of wild deer were described. |

| 内容記述 | 岩手県三陸町の100名を対象に, 野生ジカによる農作物被害対策などに関して, アンケート調査を行なった. その結果, 農林水産業の人たちの多くは, 野生ジカによって農作物被害を直接受けていることもあり, 野生ジカはいなくてもよいと考えており, この被害を｢深刻な問題｣と考えていた. また, 野生ジカの有害駆除では, 全体としては, ｢現存頭数を把握してから行なうべきだ｣が48%であり, ｢進んで行なうべきだ｣が31%であり, いずれにしても有害駆除としてシカを射殺することに賛成する人は約80%を占めたことになる.その有害駆除のためのシカ牧場のあることは町民の大半が知っていたが, 三陸町の主要な産業は水産業と農林業以外にないため, 野生ジカの有効利用によって地域活性化を図ることに協力したい町民は多かった. また, 野生ジカの有効活用の事例についても論じた. |
