This method guarantees robust stability, but does not require the matching condition in contrast to other quadratic stability methods. However, the exisitence of a controller is guaranteed only for a restricted class of perturbations. In this paper, we propose guaranteed cost control for a discrete-time system. In Section 3, under the assumption that there exists an upper bound matrix for the perturbations, an algebraic equation which includes the upper bound matrix term is derived.
