In RDPL measurement, the radiation dose was linearly increased until 38 Gy. However, above 38 Gy, it deviated upward. The ESR signal intensity of γ-irradiated L-α-alanine indicated linear in the range from 0 to 500 Gy. Though ESR signal intensity of L-α-alanine was saturated with the microwave power, the linearity of the calibration curve was reserved at any microwave power (< 5 mW).
