Two ways of mounting of the wind turbine impeller \nare regular-pitch and reverse-pitch types. The characteristics of the wind turbine in a uniform \nflow are measured. The efficiency of the wind turbine at the regular pitch type is about 12% \nunder the wind velocity 15m/s. In order to improve the efficiency of the wind turbine, nozzles \nand diffusers are set in the upstream of the small wind turbine. Effects of these nozzles and \ndiffuses on the wind turbine performance are investigated experimentally. Nozzles do not make \nthe wind velocity increase at downstream of the nozzles.
