For smaller angles of incidence, aerodynamic forces are proportional to projected area in the transverse and lateral direction to the free stream. However, as the angles increase, separated shear layers reattach on the rear surface of the panel, and some deviations appear from the sine or cosine curve of the aerodynamic coefficients.
