| 内容記述 | Chiral medium has optical activity. The resarchers have intereste in chiral medium due to its potential. We propose photonic crystal consisting of chiral medium, and examine numerically the fundamental propertiies of polarization separation and conversion. The bandgap maps for the triangular lattice of dielectric or air columns are different with those for the square lattice of dielectric or air columns. By using these properties, the polarization separation and conversion devices are proposed in this article. FDTD method with the PML absorbing boundary condition is utilized. | |||||||||||
