The program was written in Visual Basic language so that skill person and student could easily make \nuse of it on a personal computer. As a numerical example, by the analysis of butt welding using the simulation system, \nthe evaluation of the distribution of residual stress and deformed shape of a welded material was carried out. And it was \nconfirmed that useful quantitative and graphic information such as displacement vector, contour line of stress could be
