It is important to understand, and \nto clarify gas flow in an engine in detail to achieve this demand. There is Laser Doppler \nVelocimeter (LDV) as one of the mean to measure gas flow. It can be said that it is one of the \neffective methods to miniaturize the enhre LDV device and to improve measuring flexibility to \nmeasure a gas flow in an engine by using this feature. \nIn recent years, He-Ne laser which has so far been used as a light source of LDV changed into \nLaser Diode (LD) by the development of a semiconductor element, and a grate miniaturization \nwas able to be achieved. Then, we miniaturized the entire LDV device including LD light \nsource in this year's research. \nAs a result, the LDV device was miniaturized by using LD for the light source, and 67% reducing was \nable to be achieved by volume more than the past one.
