The partial discharge (PD) testing is a promising \nmethod of stator winding insulation of hydrogenerator conditions monitoring. Therefore, the \non-Iine PD testing has been used to provide useful information to diagnose and monitor the \nintegrity of stator winding insulation of many hydrogenerators. In the paper, we described the \nexamination of PD characteristics of on-line two hydrogenerator stator windings by using \nacoustic emission detection technique, and we considered the influence of the operation \nenvironments such as coil temperature, humidity and stopping
