In order to realize the portable electric devices, the miniaturization, light weight and low cost are important issues, and longer operating life of the battery is also desired. The implementation of RF analog circuits and baseband digital circuits in the same chip by using CMOS technology leads to reduce size, weight, cost and power consumption. However, it is very difficult to realize it. In this paper, an even-harmonic mixer using LC tanks instead of the load and the current source is proposed. The proposed mixer has advantage of low-voltage operation and large conversion gain. Next, for the proposed mixer, 45° phase shifter with the frequency doubler is proposed. The proposed phase shifter has advantage of low-voltage operation. Furthermore, the delay error is minimized by the same circuit configuration.
