Therefore a new \ntechnology is required for robust identification. In this paper, we use mosaic face \nimages to recognize persons by self organizing map (SOM) proposed by Kohonen. \nIn addition we evaluate the SOM based recognition by using of Euclid distance \nand city block distance.
