| 内容記述 | G. Lakoff and M. Johnson proposed the following way of thinking about metaphor. They said "We claim that most of our normal conceptual system is metaphorically structured; that is, most concepts are partially understood in terms of other concepts. Based on this way of thinking, I investigate what type of metaphors exist behind the phenomena of which light warms objects. Through the questionnaire answered by 63 Students of the teacher traninlg course, I found out that the container metaphor and the wall-ball metaphor are related to the interpretaion of this phenomena. The container metaphor is used more frequently in the explanation of transparent glass and black glass. And the wall-ball metaphor was used more frequently in the explanation of mirror. |
