| 内容記述 | In semi-mountainous regions such as Takachiho areas, self-sufficient and sustainable agricultural management has been practiced for a long time, and there are many native crops has been passed down for generations. However, in recent years, the number of farms has decreased due to the aging of agricultural workers and a lack of successors, and traditional crops are disappearing. In my efforts to collect information with the aim of protecting native crops, we obtained information on "Asajiridaizu", a native soybean that has been cultivated in this region for a long time. In this study, to understand the characteristics of Asajiridaizu, we investigated the yield characteristics under conventional cultivation in local farmers' fields and compared them with the Fukuyutaka variety cultivated in the Miyakonojo region. As a result, Asajiridaizu had an indeterminate growth pattern, which is rare among Japanese soybean cultivars. Furthermore, while its seed weight was lower than that of Fukuyutaka, its main stem length, number of main stem nodes, number of fertile pods, and number of seeds were significantly higher, resulting in a high yield. | |||||||||||
