| 内容記述 | While the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been extensively applied to assess assistivetechnologies (AT) in healthcare, including caregiving, its specific applicability in this context war-rants further investigation. In a sequential design, we first conducted semi-structured interviewswith four caregivers at Japanese special care homes using reminiscence-support AT, identifyingthree principal factors shaping perceptions of AT usefulness. These factors informed enhancementsto the original TAM. We then validated the modified model via online questionnaires featuringcaregiving-record AT scenarios, collecting 162 pilot responses and 364 main-survey responses.Structural equation modeling demonstrated that perceived usefulness influences caregivers’ inten-tion to use AT by impacting caregiver and workplace benefits. This provides valuable insights intohow professional caregivers evaluate AT usefulness, thereby contributing to the theoretical andpractical expansion of the TAM within the healthcare domain. | |||||||||||||||
