| 内容記述 | Social skills such as interaction in heterogeneous groups and communication in a diverse society become more and more essencial nowadays. This paper draws on findings from surveys conducted with an aim to know beliefs in English language learning and actual facts of global human resource development and autonomous learning among college students whose major is engineering. The findings reveal what students did/do/will do in relation to cross-cultural understanding and learner autonomy as well as their beliefs in English language learning. Based on the results, the author considers the significance of cultivation of collge students’ cross-cultural understanding and learner autonomy for second language acquisition. | |||||
