| 内容記述 | This article shows the present situation of land-use and transportation in Miyakonojo city that abolished the urbanization control area in 1988, and then discusses the basic idea towards proper land-use and transportation. The main issues are: 1） Developments including both houses and largescale retail shops have been spread out over former-urbanization control area. 2） The problems on land-use and transportation are not devastating for living standard. The residents do not recognize these problems seriously and do not prefer stricter land-use regulations. 3） The benefit and cost of suburbanization should be clarified and opened to public so that public can judge real effects of suburbanization. | |||||
