In this study, the physical and electrochemical properties of activated carbon materials produced from citron was evaluated. Manufactured activated carbon properties was examined by pore size distribution, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (S_<BET>), micropore volume (V_<micro>) and mesopore volume (V_<meso>). The maximum SBET of produced activated carbon was 421 m^2/g. In addition, activated carbon was applied to the polarized electrodes of electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs). The capacitances of fabricated EDLCs were evaluated from cyclic voltammetry (CV) in TEABF_4. The specific capacitance was evaluated as 36.3 F/g (scan rate= 10 mV/s). As the result, it was clarified that activated carbon of citron have great potential for use as a precursor in the production of activated carbons.
