In this paper, a study on the number of acceleration sensors required to verify the identification of the five basic types action (walking, sit down on the chair, stand up on the chair, crouch and stand up after the sit down) in the room and tested to examine the identification of how much accuracy. Our proposed method is used difference of acceleration between before action and after action. We tested in three subjects. The five basic type's actions were able to get the recognition rate 83-100% using one acceleration sensor on left knee. In addition, we tried the continuous measurements of five actions by two subjects. The simulation results of continuous actions could identify about 68-95% and 17-82% using one acceleration sensor.
